COVID-19 Customer Update

Nutrienís products and services and related supply chain are essential services. Even in areas where states of emergency have been declared, we continue to operate and are ready to serve our customers.

Nutrien has confirmed with both the Canadian and US governments that there are currently no plans to close the border to freight shipments by rail or truck between Canada and the US (and vice versa).

Crop inputs are essential for food production. We have activated our pandemic plans in response to COVID19 to ensure our plants, mines, and supply chains continue to operate reliably. We have been closely engaged with our supply chain partners to ensure they have robust plans in place to support our efforts, and have put in place contingency plans as well.

Our customers can have confidence in Nutrienís ability to supply them this upcoming spring despite these unprecedented challenges. Anyone with questions or concerns is encouraged to contact their Nutrien representative for more information.

Trucking: We are currently seeing good availability of trucking despite concerns raised in the media. Fortunately, authorities have enacted several measures to ensure that trucking of essential commodities (such as fertilizer) continue to flow. Examples include extension of CDLs, dangerous goods certifications, etc. If any customers are having difficulties accessing trucking, please contact your Nutrien representative for assistance.
